Femdom In Pulp Fiction

It seems femdom erotica was once sold thinly disguised as macho pulp fiction in “men’s magazines”.

Often the themes were based on p.o.w.s suffering beneath the lash of sadistic female guards.

The female guards in question were often depicted as Nazis. The men depicted were not fawning submissives but rather heroes who were taking one for their country. Still beneath all the macho hoopla this is thinly disguised femdom erotica I am sure you will agree.

These images brought back childhood memories. I remember staring at the cover illustrations of men being whipped by evil (invariably beautiful) women. They awakened feelings in me that I did not understand.

Always in the company of adults when I saw these magazines, I was only granted fleeting glimpses of the forbidden fruit. I instinctively knew these magazines were off limits to me and I never dared venture up to the magazine rack to take a closer look.

I hadn’t thought about these magazines in over forty years. Thank you femdomartists.com for revealing yet another clue to the budding development of a nascent kinkster.

The original artist and co-creator of Superman also did femdom cartoons with themes similar to those in these magazine covers. The cartoons weren't in any way connected with Superman or any of the comic books published by National Periodical Publications, but the characters looked exactly the same as Clark & Lois.

Hi Ron:

Yes I've seen those. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and other comics were all fertile ground for the curious young mind. In fact I think you have just given me the perfect preamble to what will probably be my next post! Thanks! ;-)

"I Was A Lust Slave Of The Volksturm Nymph Squad"

Oh my god. I want to *read* these! LOL!

Has anyone actually read these magazines? Do the contents match the cover, is what I'm asking.

Hi Tiaper:

I know what you mean. Who can resist stories with titles like "The Torturing Tarts of Frankfurt?" My personal favorite is; "Alien Dominatrix drains male slaves of life!" That was taken from a comic book panel though so I'm not sure it counts. Guess I'll save that one for my post; "Femdom In The Funny Papers".

I love the tawdry kitsch factor in this stuff. To answer your question I never got a chance to open up one of these mags and read it. Probably just as well. Something tells me the best thing about them is the cover art! ;-)

I have to agree, no text could beat those images *grin*

Hi Mistress 160:

I am very glad to hear you enjoyed them! :-)

What a splendid array of covers. I remember seeing those kind of covers on magazine racks when I was a kid. I also remember having read a few and being profoundly disappointed when I found out that the articles had virtually nothing to do with the pictures on the cover. Of course, it would have been pretty much illegal back then to write the story that would actually go with one of those pictures, wouldn't it? But, man, they sure got my imagination going.

Awesome art work. It is fascinating how society feels compelled to mask things for what they are. It's like Japanese adult magazines, they have to blur out the naughty bits. Oh, they do EVERYTHING and then some, but it's all blurred. It's just comic.

I too was captivated by these magazines and would spend hours reading through them in the corner drug store. I evolved into buying them, reading the stories which excited me, and masturbating to visions of suffering at the hands of these cruel bitches. Some of the stories actually described their sadism -- I recall one where a crop carrying, busty nazi woman screamed "Look at me, Look at me!" and then slashed the man viciously when he did look. My hormones were just emerging and I became obsessed with worshipping and being enslaved by a cruel, sadistic woman.....

Hi Otto:

I'm glad you enjoyed the covers! Sounds like you and I had very similar experiences with those magazines growing up. I am not surprised to hear that the stories between the covers had virtually nothing to do with the scenes depicted on them. That kind of bait and switch is very frustrating though. Can you imagine if the stories actually matched the pictures? So hot...

Hi Aarkey:

I'm glad you enjoyed the pretty pictures!! They really brought back memories for me. It is amazing how things unacceptable to society are translated into code to make them more palatable. Japanese porn is very funny with all the blurring. Hey that guy is eating %$#@ from her *&^%$ but they have to blur his ):( :*&^%$????? Go figure! ;-)

Hi Collette:

Good to know that some of those stories lived up to expectations! This is all fascinating to me because I never had a chance to see what was on the inside of those mags. Both you and Otto got to read them albeit with very different results. Sounds like you read one of the good ones!

It's good to know others saw those magazines and had a similar reaction to the one I did way back when. I don't think triggers like that make us kinky but they certainly bring latent subbie maso traits to the surface of our consciousness. Even at a very early age...
